Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability (34 Weeks)
The Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability is for students that wish to be or are already engaged in environmental management and sustainability. This course is designed to explore sustainability within a range of workplace contexts. The purpose of this qualification is to equip students with skills and knowledge in regard to implementing environmental management plans, monitoring ecosystems, and assessing, implementing and developing reports on waste management and sustainable work practices.
Diploma of Sustainable Operations (84 Weeks)
The Diploma of Sustainable Operations provides the skills needed to measure current sustainability performance and to establish processes for improved sustainability performance within organisations. It complements but does not duplicate qualifications supplying technical skills related to engineering, chemical, environmental and other technical analyses that may be needed for improving sustainability.

Graduate Outcome
Generally, the intended purpose of the Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability and the Diploma of Sustainable Operations is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to support them in gaining employment in preservation and rehabilitation of marine ecosystems. Particularly, to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to monitor and address environmental issues within the industry.
Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to participate in conservation, restoration and the monitoring of marine environments. They will have obtained the competencies required to engage in environmental management and sustainability in a range of workplace contexts.
Graduates may choose to progress into an Advanced Diploma, which can lead to management roles.
Common Course Requirements
International Students must be competent in Literacy in order to fulfil course requirements.
Therefore, will need to complete:
An English Placement Assessment; and
Completion of Secondary School
Students with English as a second language must have a minimum English level
equivalent to 5.5 IELTS
