Expression of Interest | What it’s all about
The Expression of Interest (EOI) is a form submitted to the Australian Immigration Department indicating that you want to apply for a skilled visa for Australia. Only once you are invited, can you then look to apply for the visa.
Completing an accurate EOI is essential. If you lodge an incorrect EOI and you do receive an invitation, your visa will likely be refused.
NOTE: Please note that not every application means approval. Every submission is assessed thoroughly and there are no guarantees of visa approval. If you submit all the requirements needed, have met eligibility, and have followed the process, then a positive outcome is highly likely.

Expression of Interest vs. Registration of Interest | What’s the difference?
The Expression of Interest (EOI) is a statement submitted to Immigration about wanting to apply for a Skilled Migration Visa to Australia while the Registration of Interest (ROI) is made by individuals searching for state nominations. You can only submit your ROI after you have submitted the EOI.
Expression of Interest vs. Registration of Interest | The similarities?
You must first submit the Expression of Interest with Federal Immigration. Only once you hav submitted the EOI, you can then look to submit a Registration of Interest with the State Nomination Authority. Please note, not every state requires you to submit an EOI.
