Who is Nicholas Yock and what makes him a trusted migration agent to Australia?
Nicholas Yock is a MARA-registered migration agent and the founder & CEO of Pathway to Aus. With over 10 years of experience, he holds qualifications in Migration Law as well as a double degree in Economics and Chinese. He specialises in study pathways, skilled migration, and permanent residency (PR) for students and professionals.
What visas does Nicholas Yock help with?
Nick helps clients with a wide range of visa types. He assists with study visas and graduate or training visas. He works with general skilled migration visas such as Subclass 189, 190, 491, and the National Innovation Visa. He also helps with employer sponsored visas, including Subclass 482, as well as partner visas, child visas, and investor visas.
How does the “study pathway to PR” process work?
First, Nick evaluates your background, qualifications, and academic or professional history to determine your eligibility. He then recommends a course or study plan that aligns with Australian migration law and maximises your chance of gaining permanent residency. Finally, he guides you through the visa application process—moving from a student visa to a graduate visa and potentially permanent residency—while helping you meet requirements such as skills assessments, English tests, and points tests.
What are the benefits of using a registered migration agent like Nick Yock instead of doing it yourself?
By working with Nick, you gain access to expert and up-to-date knowledge of Australian immigration laws and policies. You also reduce the risk of visa application refusals caused by errors or missing documentation. He provides clear advice about timelines, costs, and what to expect at each stage. In addition, he creates a tailored strategy based on your unique situation, including your study goals, work experience, and future plans.
Is Nick Yock authorised/licensed? What is MARA registration?
Yes, Nick is a MARA-registered migration agent. MARA stands for the Migration Agents Registration Authority, which regulates migration agents in Australia. Being registered means that Nicholas must follow the Migration Agents Code of Conduct and maintain professional standards.
Where is Pathway to Aus located, and do they serve clients outside Australia?
Pathway to Aus has its main office on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. They also have an office in London, UK, available by appointment. The firm serves international clients and can assist with migration from abroad.
What is the timeline to get permanent residency through study/pathway plus skilled migration?
