Published: Sep 4, 2020

To enrol in a joinery course, complete the enrolment questionnaire, meet English and visa requirements, and receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) for your student visa.

Steps to enrol in a Joinery course in Australia:

  • Complete the Pathway to Aus enrolment questionnaire.
  • Provide academic transcript (Year 10 equivalent) and passport copy.
  • Submit English proficiency results (IELTS 6.0 overall, no band under 5.5), unless exempt.
  • Receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
  • Use the CoE to apply for a Student Visa (subclass 500).

The Certificate III in Joinery typically takes 12–24 months and includes ~360 hours of vocational placement for international students. Apprenticeships are not permitted. Successful graduates may qualify for the Temporary Graduate Visa and further skills assessment.
