Pathway to Aus at the Travel Madness Expo 2026 in Manila

If you were in Manila for this year's Travel Madness Expo, you may have crossed paths with the Pathway to Aus team. Over three days, we met with future students, their parents, families and friends who are all considering the same big question: what would it take to start studying in Australia?

This event is exactly why we love what we do.  Our booth was a meeting point for people at very different stages of their journey for three days. Some of the visitors had a course in mind and wanted to discuss the details. Others were just curious to see what studying in Australia might be like for them or their child and had not yet decided on a course. And both of these conversations are equally important to us.

Meeting Our Education Partners

One of the highlights of the expo was the chance for visitors to explore study options directly alongside our trusted education partners. Representatives from a wide range of institutions were on hand throughout the event, including:

With so many institutions in one place, attendees could compare courses, ask questions specific to them, and get a feel for which environment might be the best fit – all without having to visit numerous offices or search through snippets of information online.

Personalised Support, Not Just Information

Our team spent much of the expo answering questions and talking through course options one on one. Since no two visitors had the same goals, a lot of our time was spent helping people map out a study pathway that actually suited their circumstances, whether that meant a vocational course, a pathway into further study, or simply a clearer picture of what the visa and study process might involve.

If there’s one thing we hope people learned from these conversations, it’s that there’s rarely one “right” pathway. What’s the best next step? It depends on your goals, your background, and what you’re hoping to build for yourself down the track.

More Than Just Choosing a Course

Studying in Australia is often talked about in terms of course selection and entry requirements, and while those details matter, they're only part of the picture. For many of the people we spoke with, this decision is really about the doors it could open: new skills, new experiences and the possibility of a different future for themselves and their families.
