Can I include my partner and children on my student visa?

Published: Dec 4, 2020

Yes. A spouse or de facto partner and dependent children under 18 can generally be included on a student visa (subclass 500) as members of the family unit, either at initial application or later as a subsequent entrant. Requirements and evidence of a genuine relationship are set out on the Department of Home Affairs student visa page. More info on that here.
